@paulsamson6039 Singapore. Greece. Tobruk. All mass surrenders of the British army. The French defended the perimeter at Dunkirk bravely, allowing the British to flee the continent, and were captured as a result. You should have a bit more respect for other nations. It's unbecoming.

@happyjonn9242 many Britons worked in Europe, because, guess what, pay and Co ditions were better, and they could escape the stupid class system.
4
@Captain-Buzzsaw "meddling" true. Now we can throw shit in our rivers with impunity.
4
@BillyBobJoeSnr it's the worst performing economy in the G20. Source IMF, and that even includes sanction hit russia who are in 19th place.
4
@paulsamson6039 there was. The anti tax avoidance directive, known as ATAD. Guess when it became EU law? 20th June, 2016. You couldn't make it up. You've been so had, unless your of those offshore corporate tax avoided of course, which I doubt somehow.
3
@rjkmusicmedia hardly surprising. They've foisted the tories on the rest of us, and now we can't work and travel freely in Europe.
3
No more European passports and right to residence there. Tragic, especially when you bear in mind the better wages there.

@locn job opportunities in Europe. Bilingualism was useful before brexit. Now we're all stuck on this island with the less educated.
2
@Captain-Buzzsaw ATAD. Passed into EU law on 20th June, 2016. It restricts corporate tax avoidance by, amongst other things, offshoring. Rees Mogg would have been very concerned by that. What's that they say? Who gains?

@lunaskye621 ditto. Used to teach in Germany. Since Ive needed a work permit, I can't get a post.
2
@kindmulberry7196 it's extremely difficult actually. I used to get contracts supply teaching because I wasn't tied down and could start quickly, but the bureaucracy around the work permit means I can't offer that anymore. It takes around six weeks, and why should an employer do that when they can hire someone with residence rights. Consequence; stuck in the UK in a poorly paying economy rather than earning well in Germany. I don't regret brexit, I'm very bitter that my fellow Britons took these rights from me.

@grassytramtracks it was a great time.

Leadson on has profited. The EU were trying to close tax loopholes for hedge fund types like her.

Lowest performing economy in the G20, behind sanctioned second world Russia. Source:IMF and your source was....?

@brendanpaterson5635 it's really bad, but I guess the kind of people who voted brexit don't value that, because my hunch is thst they are mostly monolingual.
1
@paulsamson6039 tactical))) they were starved into submission at York Town. Again; Tobruk and Greece were mass surrenders to German forces. This is why brexit happened I'm sure. Complete ignorance.

@user-ei3dq2dw6i only 16 million; 30% of voters. Terrifying when you think about it.
