Stalin annexed Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bessarabia, 20% of Finland, and moved large Russian minorities into the nominally sovereign republics, and ethnically cleansed Crimea if its indigenous Tatars. He also established a satellite system in eastern Europe, which is also a form of colonisation.
