  3. It probably is. If you come from St Petersburg, you should have some finnic or baltic DNA in you. Estonia and Finland are very close to you. My friend in England has some Spanish and finnic blood, and I've got a bit of Norwegian in me, so people and peoples do get around a bit.

  4.  @nikolaykorablin1401  thank you for your openness. You are right that we are not so different. There are many people in Britain with this nationalistic imperial mindset, mostly old now, and others who are more liberal-minded.

  5. This is true. I'm British, and I remember singing "We on the war" as a kid. Now I can acknowledge the great sacrifice of the USSR, but this is tinged by knowing that the same USSR was an aggressor state itself, as the citizens of poland, the baltic and Moldova will testify to, and the rest of the countries which were forced to be satellite states afterwards. Militarily impressive, but morally dubious.

  6.  @wilhelmu  I don't know the history as well as you, but I know that the categories the companies use are a bit crude. For example; if a DNA test says I'm 70% British, then it means I'm 70% Germanic, although most of our DNA comes from the Iberian peninsula, not Northern Europe. This part gets categorised as "Irish". It depends how far back you go. The slavic tribes definitely moved around, and there were definitely other tribes who would have lived in Poland at some point; baltic people's, urgo-finns maybe.
