  2.  @mduckernz  massive conventional response would render russia defenseless. You can't drop nuclear weapons on your own country. Well; you can, but it's a bit self-defeating.

  4. That he says the whole west is mocking russia is the worrying thing. Its not about ego. People are horrified by the wanton death and destruction.
