@adsfwef1331 says the fact that they broke every treaty and agreement they ever made with Ukraine with respect to its sovereignty, thinking of 1994, 1997, and 2003 specifically. The treaty would be worthless.

3
@hazelwray4184 so what.
3
@JohnCSmith-lp1qr .no, not nearly enough. Russia is spending its wealth fund on this.
3
@samsungtap4183 the cold war was very expensive. 6% of GDP. We currently spend 2.2%. We don't want an encouraged militarised Russia.
3
@JohnCSmith-lp1qr what a great idea it was to mske uour biggest investors yoyr enemy. How many car factories has China built in Russia? Answer, none.
3

2
@michaelwilson9921 she didn't say that. She said keeping Putin diplomatically engaged delayed the invasion. She was covering her arse for the failure of her appeasement policy btw, for which she has been heavily criticised at home in Germany. She was basically trying to defend her much tarnished legacy.
2
What's the funny bit? Personally, I find the whole thing horrifying and sickening.
