Well galina. I know this will be hard for your brain to compute living in a country where the state controls the information, but countries join NATO freely, and make their own decisions. As you don't know what horrors are being inflicted on ukraine in your country's name (no free press) you naturally can't understand why do many countries are horrified, and want to help ukraine. Get a VPN. I know your authorities are trying to block them too, but some still work.

@jimdake6632 A strong response is required. There will have to be one sooner or later, so better now, before more countries are attacked.

Are the hundreds of thousands in kiev also supporting russia or do they want to join the EU one day too? I know Russia Mia must be like paradise on earth, but do they think so?
3
He had 5,000,000 troops of course.
3
@tedzotos3627 tell me Ted. Why did donetzk and luhansk vote 83 to 17 percent to leave the Russian federation. Is that why the only way Russia can persuade its former republics is through violence. I wouldn't want to live in an oppressive economically stagnant second world country either when I could be like Finland one day.
2
@harmless6813 they claim 35, 000 dead, British intelligence, which is pretty good, puts it at 20,000 dead and another 40,000 killed, missing or wounded. No wonder they can only attack at one point by concentrating all their arty and then sending conscripts in to occupy the rubble.
2
@emberspirit6375 the independence referendum results? Online. Crimea also voted out. 54 to 46. Check it if you dare to know the truth, and that you are being lied to by your state more than in the soviet days.
2
@emberspirit6375 keep the overconfidence going. It's been really good for you so far. Who knows. Maybe you'll be allowed back in the Olympics and world cup in 20 years.
2
@don s 16 is big. 60,000 out of action. They won't have an army left if this carries on.
2
@emberspirit6375 with strategic geniuses such as yourself, Russia will go far.
2
@happydays4302 it's worth the sacrifice. We need a noble cause with all this cynicism around. It will be good for our nation.
2
Die mauer war nicht da umsonst Otto. So toll war es offenbar nicht, einen russischen provinz zu sein.
2
And tchechens too!
2
@davidjames2145 totally agree. Brexit was so disrespectful, and the British weren't welcoming. So embarrassed to be British, but now we have a chance to redeem ourselves somewhat by supporting ukraine.
2
Don't the Ukrainians have free will? You could have fooled me.
1
@ronalddippenaar2381 You have your agenda, but don't fool yourself that the decision to invade did not lay at the door of the kremlin, and that they give one unoriginal pretext after the other for their attempts to regain their old empire. You obviously have little idea of what russian's call "the national idea" and руссия мира.
1
@jimdake6632 if we don't stand up to the tyrant, he won't stop. It's as simple as that.
1
@ronalddippenaar2381 never won a war. They won ww2, ww1, they won the wars they fought against Britain, Mexico and Spain to control the territory they now have. Sorry, but you don't know much really. And yet you are so opinionated.
1
@christophernicolson5086 it should get involved more. Russia is obviously a threat to Europe's security now.
1
@blahblahblah blah China does around 60 percent of its trade with the west and 10 with Russia. It will act accordingly. Its not breaking the sanctions as russia would like it to.
1
@Gudang9 I feel sorry for you. So cynical that you can't understand that people can act positively to affect their futures, like the Ukrainians did in the million strong maidan protests, and showed more personal courage than I have ever seen to get their dreams back. I don't know another people who would continue their protests after being killed with live rounds by the hundred. But you deny the people their triumph.
1
@abatesnz I lived in Germany for 15 years. I never once heard any German talk about reclaiming lost territories. They are a very peaceable and civil people, and there is no revanchist attitude there.
1
It is already a puppet state. What a wonderful fate, to be putins buffet zone.
1
@ericconnor8419 they don't. They are brutally repressed.
1
@pyudvin9835 white just means that they claim the Mongols didn't get that far, so they didn't become eurasian like the rest of the Russians, but stayed white.
1
@emberspirit6375 I wouldn't be so certain that Russia will be the one to decide when this ends. I know being in a totalitarian state makes you feel omnipotent because there is no bad news, but you've lost a third of your original fighting strength, you've been reduced to using 50 year old tanks and soviet stocks, and the Ukrainians are being transferred to Nato kit to use against your army fir as long as they need it, and the US is giving them lend-lease support, and the US is extremely wealthy. They gave you guys 180 billion dollars in ww2.
1
@shadowbanned636 sorry, i sent you a reply for another guy. Agree. Keep the army intact and the Russians will have to go one day, like Afghanistan. .
1
@emberspirit6375 russia doesn't know how to convert resources into a functioning country. It annexed Finnish territory before, and compare them now. Wasted on russia in truth. Will probably just convert the gas money into some bad taste palaces and superyachts.
1
@gregorboca90 and tractors.
1
@emberspirit6375 I'm in Russia.
1
@jtf2dan they can keep firing, but they become less accurate over time. Russians are already using anti-ship missiles for land targets and soviet stocks. Doesn't bode well for them. Ukrainians are nowhere near being knocked out, so they should be fine soon.
1
The Russians are the naZis. It's not a coincidence.
1
@alainlefebvre9860 we only had a war with the Russians once, and they lost.
1
Hans Otto Kroeger Kaethler poor old russia. Its never a good omen when the other guys are getting the lend-lease aid.
1
@nikosk3080 yes it does. It has mobilised. It can put around 4 million troops in the field if it needs to. It needs weaponry for its manpower of course. If the west keeps supporting ukraine materially, Ukraine can keep going for years. And why shouldn't it? Its the best way to keep putin under control until the Russians decide they don't want to be cut off from Europe and the west.
1
They won't attack. Lukashenko doesn't trust them.
1
@taijisyxom6888 lukashenko is already a puppet whose personal survival is linked to Putin's support, but he will be really worried that wars have a funny habit of causing regime change. He will fear the social forces that might be unleashed. It was only 2 summers ago that a million people protested in minsk.
1
Attack the russian ground forces of course, and call Putin's bluff. If he wants to destroy himself and everyone else on the planet, so be it. We can't watch his sadistic thieving soldiers anymore while they steal ukranian household appliances and toilets.
1
@chrisperrins8082 too timid. Wish they would face this clown putin down.
1
They will no doubt steal that too.
1
It's perfectly reasonable to assume that they want to see putins armies seriously depleted. That way he won't be able to pull such a stunt as this again for a very long time. And then hopefully the next leader won't be clinically insane. When will people stop electing candidates who suffered child abuse. Putins dad has a lot to answer for.
1
@daffyduck780 desertion is a real possibility, lukashenko is deeply unpopular.
1
@Janshevik bla bla. Its wasted on you i know, but the world is bit more complex than that, but if it makes it easier for you to have a simplistic view then so be it.
