  3. Not many. We know Chamberlain appeased a dictator, betrayed the Czechs, and achieved nothing doing so. Besides Sweden, support for Ukraine is highest here in the UK. 84% for Ukraine, 12% dont knows, 4% support Putin. You can google that.

  6. He doesn't seem to have ever stepped outside his embassy. I live in Russia, and I meet an awful lot of Russians who despair of the Russian government. They literally had to block two antiwar candidates from running in the 2024 presidential election. He must know this.

  7. ​ @AdeleKaye  Disagree. Russian securiry is guarenteed by its nuclear arsenal. No nuclear power has ever been attacked. I think Russia knows this. The 2012 Russian strategic review also did not identify NATO as a threat, but it did identify China, which has territorial claims on Russia, and has publicly stated that it considers the Treaty of Peking of 1864 part of its century of humiliation. Puyin wrote an essay in 2021. In it he did not talk about security but of imperial claims go Ukraine's territories. If we take him at his word, this was the true motive.
