Iraq was a massive failure, but nobody complains about Japan and South Korea, especially not the Japanese and South Koreans, which successfully moved from bloody dictatorships to democracies with US military support, or western Europe which was liberated in 1944-45 by America and its allies.

  9. You can't do anything about people being drawn to disingenuous politicians offering simplistic solutions in the full knowledge they won't work. You just have to hope, thst enough people have the sense to see through it.
