Yes, I can understand India thinking that Europe and colonisation are synonymous, but times change, and today's coloniser is russia. The rest of Europe has grown up.

A rational politician would realise that this war will last for decades as long as russia denies ukraines right to be an independent country, and instead sees it as part of a greater russia.

@mohammadraihan4107 russia was and remains imperialistic. Most of its dead soldiers come from the territories it colonised. Western Europe stopped that behaviour around 50 years ago.

ƲԼƬƦƛ ƔƖƠԼЄƬ Russia's economy is smaller than South korea's, and yet it sees itself as equal to the USA. That is delusional. It spends less than the UK, and the UK only spends 2.3 percent of its gdp on its military.

@emmany5302 it reflects their dark sense of humour, which helps them cope with the tragedy be falling their nation.

@samsungtap4183 the red army had the ability to conduct manouvre warfare. This army can only use world war 1 tactics. It has many tanks, but lack the skill to use them effectively on the steppe, which is ideal for such warfare.

@ricardowilliams9201 Europeans know that russian armies lose wars when their economy breaks. This has happened a few times, most famously in ww1 and the crimea war, despite having larger forces and initially gai ing ground. Both times it took 3 years.

Very true. They feed the egos of corrupted spirits.

@Козырь no, it didn't. Its professional forces numbered 125k on Feb. 24th compared to russia's 290k.

The worst thing is the cynicism which people like yourself spread. You have no idea what you are are talking about. Perhaps, rather than comparing itself to the USA russia should get real. Its economy is half the size of Britain's. A war of delusions.
