  2. The brothers bit isn't actually true. Europeans are very close genetically, all R type. And politically, Russia and Ukraine are black and white, the one worshipping the state, the other individual liberty.

  12. How could they? They don't have freedom of expression and an independent media in the UK. Russia leads the world in that. So little state control of the media. All those great leader debates at election time, wonderful.

  22. It's hard to deal with people who look like us, but missed out on humanism and the enlightenment, but had Stalinism. We live on other planets. And to be honest, I prefer living on mine, and I have a feeling so does your London based ambassador. Or do you think he would prefer being posted to North Korea?

  24. Putin got 88%. Lukaschenko got 87%. My country has had contested elections since 1835. The highest anyone got was 51%, and that was Churchill. Amazing how popular these guys are, historical, almost as if it weren't true.
