Most people can't afford to travel abroad, it's badly polluted due to the age of the vehicles, and people don't care about the envitonment so it's dirty. Accomodation is very poor quality, most people live in small apartments without temperature regulstion, water has to be filtered, dieseases sich as typhoid are still prevailent, and that's without people being frightened of expressing their views for fear of being denounced. Pretty grim place.
