  4. Check out who those mothers are before you grieve too much for them. The one who said her son jumped out of the trench lost her son 3 years ago, for example. The one in the black and white dress gave a speech at the red square celebration of the annexations, in the same dress. The actual mother's organisation wasn't allowed to meet him. These are handpicked loyalists, party officials etc.

I assume you regard nthe UK and Germany, where I lived, as part of this American empire. An interesting thought, as in my experience the EU has had trade wars with the US in the past, and only the UK and Poland agreed to join the US in the second gulf War. But if you see the world like that, then that is your experience of it.

  11. The universities aren't very good; the elite send their children to western ones, and the values aren't doing it in an age where innovation and creativity mean prosperity. Conformity and lack of freedom of expression are literally killing Russia.
