Check out who those mothers are before you grieve too much for them. The one who said her son jumped out of the trench lost her son 3 years ago, for example. The one in the black and white dress gave a speech at the red square celebration of the annexations, in the same dress. The actual mother's organisation wasn't allowed to meet him. These are handpicked loyalists, party officials etc.

@crusadercatwoman02 actually nations apply to join of their own free will. See Swedish and Finnish application as an example of this. I assume you regard nthe UK and Germany, where I lived, as part of this American empire. An interesting thought, as in my experience the EU has had trade wars with the US in the past, and only the UK and Poland agreed to join the US in the second gulf War. But if you see the world like that, then that is your experience of it.

@crusadercatwoman02 nato is a country now. And there was I thinking it was created to counter russian expansionist into Europe, and to stop European countries fighting each other.
