  3. There is another Russia. Russia had a democratic constitution till the Bolshevik revolution, a result of massive popular demand going back to the mid nineteenth century. This dream has not died.

  16. Germany built car plants there, and signed lucrative gas contracts with them. It even ignored the Crimea annexation, and built nordstream 2, sk Ukraine wouldn't get any income from the pipeline crossing their territory.
