  2. Nato. He forgot to mention that russia was itself a nato partner, agreed formally to the principle that nations are free to choose their economic and alliance partners. He also knows that russia has been historically extremely aggressive towards its neighbors, just ask all those countries which were turned into communist satellites in 1945.

  6. Maybe you should learn some European history before you pass judgement. Russia colonised ukraine, moldova, Georgia, ukraine, baltic States, and Finland, and that's just the twentieth century. It also imposed puppet communist govts on poland, took 50% of its territory BTW, czechia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, east Germany etc. All in the twentieth century. Maybe now you will understand why so many eastern european countries wanted to join nato after the collapse of the soviet empire.
