  2. ​ @dr.finnegan3949 they were mutually supporting operstions, as were Citadel and Kursk, and Alemain and Uranus. The allies co-ordinated major operations for obvious reasons.

  3. 30% of their combat strength was in the west, against a foe whose doctrine focused on air power, with no airforce. Fortunately for them, the alllies had supply issues, and needed Antwerp to push on.

  5. They held for too long in truth. Falaise was a disaster. The real miracle was that the war didn't end in 1944.
