That people in the biggest capitalist economy in the world don't understand something as simple as the relationship between money supply and inflation is depressing.
655
Like all the Russians baying for Ukranian blood.
417
She never wondered, that she might be the swamp.
142
It's not about losing a debate, it's being seen to be senile.
124
I find it hard to separate them. They all want to bully someone.
96
"He's doing what anyone else would do." Actually, we don't commit genocide here.
86
If Pootin is furious about Ukraine defending itself with shortrange missiles, Pootin is psychologically ill.
70
Goodnight democracy. It was nice knowing you. Happy to have lived in that age. But it was always fragile.
69
I don't like conspiracy theories, but what on Earth is motivating Trump to be a cheerleader for Russia? I hope he's just a fool.
54
@lettheflamestakeover7374 except bakhmut isn't lost sergei.
31
Trump appeals skillfully to the dark side of human nature.
31
Very true.
27
Planet thick it's called.
24
A.P.E he's European, not a pigmy or kalahari bushma. He's 10 cm under average. Europeans regard him, correctly, as short.
18
Don't play politics Nancy. This is just too big.
15
Is your island really shit?
15
He looks at the map and sees a great empire, but the economic data and the quality of the military, in spite of high military spending, tells the true picture.
15
@jerrym.8071 she just has to be better than Trump, which isn't hard. He's been whining about a little scratch on his ear for the past two weeks.
13
@Sergio-g4l please stop using my country's language. It's demeening.
12
It won't be close. Harris will win comfortably. Early voting is high. Expect Georgia and North Carolina to go blue.
12
She was VP. Her job was to support POTUS.
11
It's hardly surprising in the circumstances.
11
He's trying to create divides. An awful human being.
10
@gulliverthegullible6667 it's a nation under law. Lying to courts is a no no.
10
@nathanmitchell295 but it's true. Most Americans couldn't find Ukraine on a map.
9
@navamsinna8492 the dream of his people is to be part of Europe. Europe is a cool place, lots of people from Asia and Africa dream of living there too.
9
They say they have a fine range of white bread there.
9
@martinha2856 actually crimea voted for independence from russia by 57 to 43 percent in a free open referendum conducted by Gorbachev's government in 1991. So much for coming home.
9
He'd like to stop them voting.
8
@stitch438 we men don't risk being beaten. It's harder for women to find someone they can feel safe with.
8
@javih36vv Indian's behaviour is suspicious. We thought it was on the side of democracy. It would seem not.
8
At least his argument concedes that Russia does not need to control other countries as buffer states as it does indeed have nuclear weapons.
8
@russell75rogers It won't change the result. Early voting is going well for Madam President.
8
@galanis38 not many. The latest polls show overwhelming support for EU membership. They don't repress them either. They say that Ukranian is the official state language as it is Ukraine, and 70 percent of Ukrainians are L1 ukranian speakers. In the USSR all education was in Russian although Russian is a minority language. This is not repression. It is normal.
8
@yellowtunes2756 you are incorrect. Prior to independence the language of education in ukraine was russian, although 70 percent of Ukrainians speak ukranian as their first language. Using the term "banned" is wrong because every country in the world teaches in its own language, and russian is not the language of Ukraine. It is a minority language.
8
Shall we give away the east coast, the west coast, or the sunbelt away?
7
@heittormarketghton6344 our army is here, not in ukraine. But it would be great if we move in and clear the ruskies out.
7
Great grandfather surely. He's 98.
7
He likes power a little too much.
7
@stevestoll3124 didn't trump add 4 trillion to the national debt to finance the tax cuts, and didn't the tax cuts disproportionately benefit the rich? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
7
@ED-xk5sb NATO has never attacked Russia. Fact.
7
A NATO trained bird.
7
Civic identity is much more important in ukraine than ethno-linguistic identity. Putin didn't seem to know that. Now he does.
7
@putilinvladimir5627 winters coming. I hear russia is bloody freezing. Enjoy! It's +8 in January here. 🤣🤣
6
@dkrawk8309 the ethnic minorities do, the son of Mr peskov, not so much. If you call that brotherhood, that's your choice.
6
@SD-tq7ug russia is certainly trying to control ukraine. I see no reason why. I can only suppose that the Russian government sees this as a way of increasing its popularity in Russia, since there is a pattern of the Russian public approving aggression abroad. Obviously, I hope russia doesn't succeed, as Ukraine deserves better than being a Russian buffer state.
6
@truefact4439 it has no allies. Ukraine has 51.
6
@truefact4439 it's being bled dry for villages of no importance. It's like hitler's armies, overreaching, being worn down, and unable to achieve its strategic goals, while it's opponent is getting more and western military and financial support, and like hitler's armies it is still on its opponents territories with no hope of achieving victory. It lost when it couldn't end the war quickly.
6
@ED-xk5sb have you ever wondered why the baltic states, finland and Poland wanted to join NATO? Check history books; 1939-1940 for answer.
6
@TheOrangePatriot he wanted live fact checking, not surprisingly Trump rejected that. I wonder why?
