They've lost their main energy customers, they are under sanctions, its costing them billions, and thousands of lives, 700,000 of their best and brightest have left, they have lost hundreds of thousands of jobs and 1200 western companies have left, they have an air fleet they can't maintain, russians are cut off from Europe, it is in recession, they can't import vital technologies from the advanced economies, for some ruined towns which they will probably lose.
