  1. Lesia's command of English is excellent and helps with her very clear outlining of the problem (ruzzia). I fear that when this is all over, Ukrainians will join the ranks of many other nations who hate the USA. The US is treating Ukraine poorly, by forcing them to fight a superior military force, with one hand tied behind its back. The US and UK helped Israel down Iranian missiles destined for Israel, but the US won't allow NATO members to do the same for Ukraine. What's the difference? Both instances are attacks on Non-NATO countries, but in one case the US helps the victim, in the other it refuses to allow NATO to help.

I feel, that after Ukraine has defeated russian aggression, Ukrainians will look back at the way the US only-semi supported them - and, like so many other nations, Ukraine will see the US as duplicitous, and regard it as an enemy. Britain, although it too has failed its part in the Budapest Memorandum, has at least been at the forefront of supporting Ukraine. I think Ukrainians will look back on Britain as a friend.
