I don't know why they talk about "the illegal annexation of four oblasts" when it was only the illegal annexation of parts of the four oblasts. Luhansk is the only oblast Russia had 100% control over - until Ukraine took back Bilohorivka. Russia barely controls 50% of Donetsk. Slava Ukraini.

Isn't it great to see that Russia is sending more tanks to Ukraine - for it's troops to run away from next rout. Russia, the largest supplier of weapons to Ukrainian soldiers. Slava Ukraini.

This is so funny. Again Russia accidentally admits that it is terrorist. There was a "terrorist" drone attack on Moscow. So it has agreed that drone attacks by one country on cities in another country is "terrorist" - something that Russia has been doing daily lately.

I feel sorry for the old guy. But not for Russia, as this failure is another slap in the face for Putin's dream of a "greater Russia".
87
@Rakku Knight No, America knows Ukraine can win.
59
Don't you love how the LPR guy says they're hearing less Ukrainian and Russian spoken by Ukrainian forces. They're complaining about the number of foreign fighters. This from an army that uses Wagner group foreign mercenaries and Russian (ie non-Ukranian) fighters for a war in Ukraine. Hypocrites. If LPR sent all foreign forces home, then I would support Ukrainian government sending all their foreign forces home.
48
"We are neighbors, and you don't chose your neighbors". I think Lukashenko should pass this bit of wisdom to Putin - who is trying to chose his neighbors in Ukraine.
40
Medvedev is always shooting his mouth off. But then again he likes his vodka too much. I wonder what he says when he's sober?
37
"...probably from Moscow." Yes it's interesting to see that Putin is too scared to go anywhere near the war, while Zelenskii has visited the fighting troops on several occasions. Shows how much each leader values their men.
35
The Russian representative on the Security Council is right to point out that attacks against "peaceful cities and targets, sometimes thousands of kilometres from the area of fighting" is wrong. As he says "What kind of military usefulness can be called the shelling of villages in the border region of Russia?" Which raises the question: Why does Russia frequently carry out both these activities? Why does Russia attack "peaceful cities and targets, sometimes thousands of kilometres from the area of fighting" such as Lviv and Odesa? Why does Russia constantly engage in "the shelling of villages in the border region of Russia" such as in the border regions of Sumy and Kharkiv oblasts? What a hypocrite.
34
It might be a "black hole" for the Ukrainian war effort, but it has to be similar for Russia. I feel sorry for Ukrainian troops rotating back in - knowing what a hell hole they're going back into. Interesting that the Ukrainian soldiers are suffering hypothermia and trench foot. Makes me wonder just how bad it is for the Russians, because I'm assuming they will be in worse condition. Slava Ukraini.
31
Crimea is Ukraine.
29
@yobro4501 Yeah, I wonder if the irony escapes Peskov when he says the US is close to becoming a party to the conflict. Has he not noticed that Russia is a party to the conflict, so what's the difference. Maybe he thinks the Russia is the only country that's allowed to wander into other countries. In fact, if the US did send troops it would be with Ukraine's permission and therefore legal. As opposed to Russia's illegal invasion.
29
@Will Hooton What about... What about... What about keeping on topic. Or go start your own thread on some Russian language site where you'll get some sympathy. Slava Ukraini.
27
@techkingdata9338 Yup, the Himars made a significant change in the direction of the war. If you can't cope with that, it's your problem.
26
Let's hope the reports are wrong. He has served Ukraine very well and it would be sad to lose him.
26
Igor: "All assigned objects have been hit. The target has been reached" which means "damn, we missed again, but we got three residential housing blocks 50km away".
25
I was a bit concerned when Igor claimed that Russia had shot down a number of Harm missiles. I was even more concerned when he said Russia hsd taken down a Storm Shadow missile. Then he said Russia had taken out 10 Himars launchers - and I realised he was joking. Nice one Igor. You had me there for a minute.
24
@metalrain6011 Yankee doodle went to town, Shooting up some Wagners...
24
The body language of the Russian governor of Bilhorod (Belgorod) was interesting. He looks VERY nervous.
21
@bekeneel Agreed. I suspect this is just more Russian propaganda - to attempt to sow doubt regarding the effectiveness of an expensive, but very accurate munition.
19
Very true. But when someone does to Russia, what Russia does to others, expect crying and wailing and threats of nuclear attack.
19
I agree. He never seems to base what he says in any reality.
18
Yeah I know. Igor said so, so it must be true. I would have thought he could have upped it a bit, like 3500 Ukrainian troops, 11 jet fighters (4 of them F-16s), and maybe an aircraft carrier or two (if Russians can count higher than one when it comes to aircraft carriers).
18
@m.g.debruin8294 I think Russia is successfully destroying itself during this war. Slava Ukraini.
18
Kim Jong Putin.
18
@johnnolang3734 Agreed. If Pootin wants peace he can have it within a few days. He has the power to withdraw his troops at any time.
18
Vladimir putin Incorrect. Ukraine gained tanks left behind by cowardly Russians running away.
17
@johnsch1988 Don't forget to add that the 'unstoppable' Khinzal has been shot out of the sky on 7 occasions.
17
I don't know why anyone bothers with Medvedev's opinion. The man has a screw loose.
17
It's interesting that Russia has put senator Lindsay Graham on their "wanted" list. Most US Democrats have him on their "not wanted" list. 😅
17
Yes. Zelensky has been successful, and ruzzia has failed. Once again ruzzians will pay heavily for their aggression.
16
@mujeeb679322 If my close neighbor sent troops to my house, I would ask my distant neighbor to lend me enough guns to repel my close neighbor.
16
@Pace18692 I disagree. I think his troops will remain very loyal to him. He has an appeal to ordinary people. Heck, I hate what he did in Ukraine, but still find myself admiring his lack of BS. I find his honesty refreshing.
16
@chrisbremner8992 "The Russian military is in a bigger mess now than before the war," - There, I fixed it for you.
16
I think Dugan should be careful. Last time he got a last minute reprieve when the FSB stopped him getting into his daughter's car.
16
"The west is trying to divide Russia" says Putin "they are halfwits". Russian has been trying to divide Ukraine since before 2014 (Crimea, Donbas). I guess that makes Putin a half wit by his own measure.
16
Why don't you tell that to Putin. Do you have indoor plumbing?
16
@Rakku Knight Russia has nearly run out of "love" and will shortly be pushed out of Mylove (followed by Kherson and Sevastopol).
15
Russia does not understand the word "negotiate". It gets it mixed up with "make unreasonable demands" and "don't give an inch". Maybe when Russia should come back when it is really ready to negotiate.
15
"we can totally confirmed" hmm, English isn't your first language is it. Can't you find a website in your own language, so we don't have to put up with your nonsense.
15
@Endeavor-jp5it Nor, apparently, can Russia any more. The Russian dream is rapidly dying.
15
This looks like a very organised resistance. However it's not the 'start'. There have been ad hoc acts of resistance since the invasion last year - the actions that I recall are the sabotage of railway signals and misdirection of trains in Belarus last year.
15
@jeffs4483 Which Leopard tanks Jeffs? Five Leopard tanks have been lost so far, a further ten have been damaged and are being repaired. Maybe Russia needs Lancet drones that can actually penetrate armour - like the Ukrainian suicide drones can. No T-14 Russian tanks have been damaged or destroyed - they must be really good - or so bad they break down before they get to the battlefield. hahahahahahaha Man, it sucks to be a Russian troll aye Jeffs.
15
No, Poo tin is not completely crazy - only half crazy. Did you see him trying to control his temper when Gerasimov was lying to him.
14
@Ls151000 Yeah, right. And Santa Claus is real. Honest.
14
Or exploding cars.
14
@nikitakuznetsov8446 Maybe Russia shouldn't have sent provocateurs into Donbas to stir up trouble. Maybe Russia shouldn't have then armed the dissidents it provoked. Maybe Russia shouldn't have sent Russian troops into the Donbas. Maybe Russian troops shouldn't have shelled cities such as Donestsk. Then eight years later (in 2022) maybe Russia shouldn't have invaded causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Russian speakers and ethnic Russians by shelling and bombing cities such as Mariupol. Maybe you should do some research before making stupid statements.
14
That's one days losses for Russia.
14
@StompingRabbits What is heroic about Zelenskii? You have to be kidding. Firstly, when offered safety in exile, in the first hours of this war, he instead chose to stay and lead. That galvanized Ukrainians to fight the Russian aggressors. He goes to the frontlines and speaks to his troops. He knows how to boost morale and he shows that he cares. Compare that to the coward in the Kremlin. Zelenskii harasses foreign governments for support in the form of weapons and the equipment they need. Compare that to Russia who mobilize citizens and then sends them to the front ill-trained and ill-equipped. If my country was at war, would I want a leader like Putin, or a leader like Zelenskii? The answer is easy.
