@wolflarsen1900 Yes it was quite horrible to watch someones son, brother, father, husband, die like that. But better the invader suffers a horrible death than it happen to a defender or civilian. That's why we have to de-humanize them - because it is important that they die (or go home, but that's unlikely to happen).

@vittoriosecreto6346 There was no "self determination" in the referenda held in any of the stolen oblasts. Self determination requires a free and fair vote. Russia does not know what either of those terms mean. This is not a war about self determination, this is a land grab by a self-confessed expansionist regime. Putin has written papers on the reestablishing the Russian empire.

@ПетрухинДимон What, only one town? Ukraine has taken over 100 towns and villages in Kursk, in just three weeks. Ukraine has taken more land in Kursk in three weeks than russia has taken in Donbas in 6 months. And russia has lost 100,000 troops taking that land.

@dnik1260 "List of US military operations of the 20th - 21st century". So you are saying that all these were justified - and that's why russia doesn't recognise the sovereignty of Ukraine. Firstly, as pointed out, you are stuck in the past. The USSR signed the UN Charter in 1947 agreeing to all existing post-war borders. Anything before that is ancient history. When the USSR dissolved russia took over the UN seat. If russia is not prepared to act responsibly it should hand over the seat to a more responsible former USSR state. Secondly, I disagree that US aggression is justified in every case. Just like I disagree that russian aggression in Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Syria, and many parts of Africa is justified.
