@amahsu1821 And RT tells you lies.

@ciaranbrk There are currently 4 routes into Crimea from mainland Ukraine and two from Russia. The two from Russia are the road and rail routes over the twin Kerch bridges. From mainland Ukraine, there are a road and rail route from.the west. Towards the east there is another rail route. And further east again there is another road. The Russians were attempting to also construct/complete a road along the spit. I don't know if this is operational or not. Anyway, they're all very vulnerable. So cutting off and laying seige to Crimea is probably a lot easier than attempting to actually retake the oblast by force.

@orvalprosacco1951 I 100% agree. The problem is how to remove the vermin, without tens of thousands of deaths (of genuine Crimean civilians and Ukrainian forces in particular).

@UncleStepon "It’s all Russia" Yup, when it comes to the question of who started this war, just remember "It’s all Russia". I will happily pay my taxes - or at least the part that goes to fight ruSSian aggression. Yup, six months ago Wagner had just taken Bakhmut (I'm pleased to see even you use the Ukrainian name), but not yet disintegrated. Ukraine hadn't yet liberated Klishchiivka and Andriivka. The ruSSian Winter Offensive had completely failed and the Ukrainian Spring Offensive had not yet mostly failed. ruSSia had a couple more ships and one more submarine in the Black Sea, and many more planes and helicopters in Crimea and the Donbas, as well as at least 100,000 troops that are now injured, maimed or dead. You are right about "how time changes things in attrition". I'm buckled up. How about you Chad?

I think you were watching a different video clip. Maybe a Russian one?

@kenbristow6771 The Orcs are Russian. Zelensky was an Orc speaker, but now rejects the language of the oppressor.
1
But James, this is exactly russian ideology - life is cheap - and anyone can justify taking "someone’s life from them".
1
While saying either of those things shows your "perceived reality" is ludicrous.

@babadook-qr6pv What a silly response. Is that the best you can.come up with? If it's any help I sure won't be moving to Russia. I'd prefer not to live in an autocracy where free speech is banned and information is blocked by the government. Where the people are lied to by their leaders on a daily basis. And where huge numbers of young men are sent to be injured, maimed or killed, in a pointless war with no purpose but to make Pootin great. No thanks. But Ukraine looks lovely.

What's up with the reporter talking about the nuclear power plant? Is he trying to get more viewers by hyping up the situation? RuZZians are harmlessly burning tyres in the cooling tower to scare people, and this reporter is playing into their hands.

Only traitorous western taxpayers are complaining about the cost of this war. It's a Russian propaganda talking point. Most western taxpayers know that we are doing the right thing for Ukraine, for our own nations, and for our children.

@bobbywalker8337 Roubles. You ruSSia trolls get paid in roubles for trying to deceive, for trying to abuse, for trying to accuse - but for a rouble huh?
1
@lhinkelman1049 Unfortunately, I agree with you. Too many of us are greedy for money and/or power. But yes, Zelenskyy will go down in history as a man who helped change the world and stood up to a dictator. And every cloud has a silver lining - Ukraine will come out of this with its people knowing why corruption can no longer be tolerated.
1
@UkraineNeeds Which they will never get under Russian dictatorship.

@joesz8325 "This guy..."? Oh you mean Putin. He will leave the Kremlin a multi-billionaire with superyachts, estates and palaces around the world. All paid for out of the saving from his days as a KGB agent and his annual salary of $120,000 (= USD) as president. Or maybe he stole it all from the Russian people. He will fight to the last Russian...
1
@kenbristow6771 The Russians are the Orcs. Slava Ukraini.
1
In a war that could have been avoided by Putin staying at home.
1
@DiamondWarrior-vv5yq Why do you say "definitely not Ukraine"? Why do you say "NATO"? NATO is extremely unlikely - too much red tape, too many checks and balances within NATO admin. French special forces maybe, but Ukraine would also have motivation.
1
@OSnoopySnoop1 I'll say it again: stop SHOUTING.
1
@Lurk-s No, wrong. That was Saudis.
1
@Lurk-s russia has a history of this, so FSB is always a suspect. However it turns out it was ISIS - but even then russia tries to twist it to their own narrative.
