  1. As an alumnus and former member of TUGSA, the administration thought that we were really stupid. Around 2009-10, the adjuncts were trying to organize, and they sent these e-mails saying, "If you are a union worker, you have to take the pay scale, but if you're independent, you're free to ask for more," as if the adjuncts weren't already on a scale. They want to get rid of tenured professors and turn everyone into low-income adjuncts. The administration is the living embodiment of "knows the cost of everything and the value of nothing." Thank you for bringing this to light, Bernie!
