  1. Indeed. I ran for a seat in the WV House of Delegates 15 years ago, and once I got to the Republican strongholds in the county, I kept hearing complaints about regulation. After this happened a few times, I started asking which regulations were excessive. In the end, only one person gave an answer, and while it was a reasonable answer (too much red tape to get a billboard approved), most of the time it was just vague anti-government nonsense.

  2. I'm confused. Did they win the vote, or did they receive sufficient signatures to have a vote? If the latter, they must remain vigilant.
