  1. Some of these were clearly "make-up" awards. When you point out that they were more worthy for prior roles, that is the Academy's way of apologizing. Resse Witherspoon, though, I don't know what the logic was for that one. Gwynneth Paltrow makes me wonder what kind of dirt Harvey Weinstein had on Academy members.
