  1. Ultimately, you just can't negotiate with Republicans because there is no middle ground with a group that wants your destruction. There are some Repiblican voters who are lazy and don't realize what happened to their party, so Biden has to pretend to listen, but until and unless they are going to make a substantive good faith counteroffer, there is no actual work with them.
