  1. I don't think Manchin would be re-elected in 2024 as a Republican. The Republican Party is way to his right in West Virginia, and he would never get out of the primary. Sadly, I worry that Jim Justice is a mortal lock no matter what happens in the next three years if he wants it.

  2. If he wants to be FDR, he is not there yet. I do think that it is possible for Bernie to play Huey Long to Biden's FDR, but he needs to go a little bit farther in rejecting the assumptions of the past 40 years.
