@glennyj65 Slowly paying what debt off? The budget deficit has gone up the last two years and is projected to go up again. Not that I am saying that the deficits alone matter, but by definition, when the deficit is growing faster than the economy, that is not "paying it down" by any stretch of the imagination. Oh, and did you see the latest jobs report? Lowest private-sector growth since March 2010, and the previous three months had been downgraded a total of 75,000 jobs. We are almost 10 years into a growth cycle that is clearly showing signs of winding down.
