@Dustin_Bins If Trump gets four more years, he gets to name the successor to RBG and possibly Breyer. If that happens, any good thing President AOC or anyone else can get through Congress will be overturned. If you really want Medicare for All, use Biden, do the actual work to elect people down ballot to control the machinery, and get things done with the next President.

@yasminerivera9151 How is staying home or voting third party and letting four of the five right wing Justices get there working out? Thanks for the Voting Rights Act getting gutted, Janus v. AFSCME, and Citizens United!

@yasminerivera9151 In the 1980s, it was common for judges to get unanimous or nearly unanimous approval. Biden was also one of the people who led the charge against Bork, who would have been much worse than Kennedy. There is a difference between voting and nominating, and if you think that Biden is going to name some Federalist Society hack, you are lying to yourself.

The mere fact that you think that someone who voted for someone who was approved unanimously is looking for more judges just like that when he voted against Bork, Thomas, Roberts, and Alito after that demonstrates your dishonesty. Do you think Edward Kennedy would have nominated a Federalist Society Justice? After all, he voted for Scalia, too.
