For those who say that it will help Trump, look at what happened in 2000: it forced Gore to run away from Clinton, and it gave Bush his "restore honor and dignity to the White House line." I saw an exit poll in WV that Gore lost 13 points among religious right voters compared to Clinton in 1996. Probably not enough to make up six points overall, but if you have similar results elsewhere, say maybe Tennessee, and it isn't close enough to steal in Florida.
