  1. Criticizing Israel is not inherently anti-Semitic, but there is some overlap. When I hear someone talking about visiting the region to protest and refusing to drink water that came from an Israeli tap. That is at least in the ballpark. Same as talking about Jewish people in general.

  2. Yes. You can argue that Israel is being imperial, but it is not the same thing as what happened in South Africa. Trevor Noah literally couldn't play outside because he was born to parents of different races for fear of his family being arrested or worse.
