  1. The real problem with their being so many candidates onstage is that it is far easier for a candidate to hide and say nothing with nearly a dozen candidates on stage. I would be fine with any candidate who is on the ballot in enough states to theoretically win the Electoral College to be on the debate in the fall, but ultimately, we have a two-party system because of math and our rules. If you want multiple parties, you either need ranked choice or promotional representation.
