By that logic, Dave Rubin is the greatest interviewer of our time. The job of an interviewer is to help the audience learn something, not to be a stenographer.

People can have basic intelligence and still be bonkers. If someone can't answer a basic question, and that's what draws you in, more power to you.

@TheGoodHumanBrand Because I'm not a cult member. If someone is asked a simple question such as "who won the 2020 Presidential election?" it shouldn't take two minutes of talking, with the actual answer of Yes or No never actually coming out of his mouth.

What does he actually communicate? I've known plenty of candidates who can be incredibly flowery, but after the fact, you realize that they didn't actually say anything.

@kdLsmarckee Hoe ironic that you speak of "cultists" while sounding exactly like the Yang Gang bangers did four years ago. I've seen plenty of his "ideas" and "plans," like pretending that the Foruteenth Amendment isn't a thing while using racist dog whistles that, if applied to him, would render him ineligible for the Presidency.

@stlguy1976 Ah, yes. The Pontius Pilate approach. You can tell what the truth is by objective research. David showed exactly why the poll a) was extremely flawed, and b) did not say what Vivek said it did.

Most of the people on the ballot aren't actually running to be President. Most of them are running to try to become Trump's running mate. Hence, why only Christie (and to a lesser extent Hutchinson and Pence) has actually criticized him.

@samtheman8483 This video literally shows some examples, such as the assertion that seeing Little Hunter would have swung the election to Trump, his claims about wokeness, talking about wanting to bridge the gap while refusing to acknowledge that Biden won the election, etc. His bigger tactic was actually Gish Gallop, because he didn't really make up lies as much as he did repeating the ones already floating around.

@malverdetx8582 He buried the answer, and you know it. He gave so many qualifications to his answer that it was obvious that he was playing to a crowd that believes that the answer is No, and his argument about the lack of revenge porn before the election being why Trump lost has been disproved repeatedly.

Indeed. And speaking of which, did anyone else notice that the video got swarmed initially by Vivek supporters, but within a few hours or even a day, the tide turned? The irony is that fans of certain grifters on YouTube (such as Jimmy Dore or Dave Rubin) often come by much later when there is less interest. That strategy was so pernicious that YouTube stopped showing downvotes.

@fineilldoit Asking the question of who won the election has a lot to do with Vivek. If Trump truly won, why run to take away what is rightfully his office? If he were to somehow win the nomination, would he concede if he lost the election fair and square, or does he believe that no Republican can lose fair and square? If he thinks that Biden did win, isn't it his responsibility as a candidate to correct the Big Lie?
