  2. Sorry about that. I didn't notice the second half of your comment. I guess that, for me, to borrow a phrase, the most important priority is to deny the Senator a seventh term.

  3.  @dreindenver798  I disagree. We already have term limits; they're called elections. I'm originally from WV, and I thought Senator Byrd was still doing a good job, so I voted to give him a ninth term. I moved to PA in '07, and I thought Senator Specter didn't deserve a sixth term. Bring in term limits, and not only do you throw out the good with the bad, but the only people who have any institutional knowledge to get things done are staffers... who are completely unaccountable to the voters. In states that adopted term limits, staff got more and more power. The problem isn't long-serving senators, the problem is bad senators.

  4. That's their scam. I've seen it too many times. They complain about deficits, but then they drive them up and blame it on earned benefits (the real entitlements go to the people who get it all and want more).
