@bioboost12 The virus was going to come, but telling people not to wear masks and telling them that it would magically go away made it worse. And, he didn't "ban travel from certain countries." For example, he didn't ban travel from Chiii-na, he banned Chinese nationals, and he didn't make those who came from Chiii-na quarantine in order to make sure they didn't have it. That is what is xenophobic. Had he have done what places like New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and South Korea did, easily a quarter of a million people would still be alive today.

@adilo7467 He didn't even ban travel from China. He only banned Chinese nationals.

Martin Van Lent I think a lot of it is the power of echo chambers. If they literally encounter no one who disagrees with their opinions in their everyday lives and they rarely stray outside their media bubbles. As the last four years have proven, never hearing No is bad for your mental health.
