@justsaying3729 I don't think he said it at all. I think that he said that Trump would try to weaponize her gender, just like he would try to do with Bernie's age. Doesn't mean that Bernie thought that it would work.

Uh oh. Found the bot. Here's a hint. If you don't want to reveal yourself, learn to spell the name Sanders. Also, Democrat is a noun, Democratic is an adjective. I didn't say anything near that. No wonder your program is defending Warren. Both have a classic case of playing telephone.

I did engage. You argued that McGovern lost because he was too far left. I responded that he was not left on the economic issues that have driven every Democratic victory for 100 years. If you really want to say I didn't engage, you are the one who didn't engage, because you collapsed when I offered a counterpoint.

You still had nothing of substance to say to the counterargument about McGovern. The mere fact that you couldn't follow the simple logic of "person makes point A, other person makes objection B, original person either defends point A or responds to counterpoint B" shows the truth about you far more than about me. If you don't want to be called a bit, prove your humanity and respond to the point presented, while learning how to spell a simple name.

I don't think Bernie said a woman couldn't win at all. Given Warren's propensity for lying and exaggeration, here is what I think really happened. Warren: Do you think a woman can beat Trump? Bernie: I do. I do think that Trump will try to use gender against a woman. He'll use my age and Jewish heritage against me. He will use whatever he thinks will work. 13 months later: Warren: Bernie said that a woman can't win. If she is the nominee, I will vote for her, because I live in a swing state (Pennsylvania), but she will get none of my weekends, and I will not defend her when people bring her up. A Presidential campaign doesn't build character, it reveals it, and Warren just showed that she let the One True Ring taint her. She will never get my active support for anything ever. I don't want her as VP unless it is literally the only way to get the nomination (say, Bernie were to get 1800 delegates and she has 600, and she only releases them to Bernie in exchange for the number two spot), I don't want her in a Bernie Cabinet, and I don't want her to be Senate Majority Leader. She has proven herself once and for all to be a complete fraud.

@rachelmadison7771 So, the candidate who was caught lying about her ancestry, her parents being forced to elope, her father being a janitor, being fired for being pregnant, never trying to use said exaggerated heritage in hiring, sending her children to public schools, and fighting for the poor as a lawyer is telling the truth? May I ask why?

George McGovern was hostile to labor, and his campaign was littered with people who ended up in the vanguard of the New Democratic movement (Hart, Clinton, Clinton, etc.) and his last public act was opposing card check. And just a week and a half ago, I talked to a former Trump voter who was won over to Bernie by emphasizing economic issues. He loved Medicare for All and Workplace Democracy. Half measures won't inspire anyone. After all, how did it work the last time?
