@curiousabout1 She always had a horrible streak. Yes, in 2016,I thought that she was a worthy successor to Bernie, but once I heard her advocate torture I did everything I could to try to warn people about her, and I got so much grief from the tulcels about it. If someone innocently stumbled upon her and didn't know, that's one thing, but the people who were given the facts and ignored them (I'm not talking about the OP), have no such excuse. Even before she went fully mask off, she lobbied Der Orangefuhrer for a job as Secretary of State, she went to Syra on Assad's dime and spouted propaganda when she went home, she called single payer "un-American" twice in an interview with Anderson Cooper, and it was pretty obvious that her version of "peace" was isolationism with a younger, prettier face.

@a5cent "Mistakes on the issue of supporting Ukraine"? I really don't understand what you're getting at. In a larger sense, if it leads you to defend torture and spout propaganda of multiple dictators, it clearly shows the limitations of isolationism, where you are content to watch the whole world burn.

@a5cent "many of us now oppose it all, thinking they will be right more often than not." But that's the problem. It's not thinking. If you want to have a healthy skepticism, have at it, but when it comes to applauding abandondoning a group that has stuck their neck out for us so many times like the Kurds, that is being a useful idiot for a dictator.

@a5cent It can be a bit confusing when one switches from first to third person in the same comment. My reply pointed out that, regardless of the motivation, it is borne from laziness. I remember in the early days of the Ukrainian invasion, someone said that assuming the CIA is wrong will make you right 90% of the time. Even if that's true, you're still wrong 10% of the time, so you can't just blindly ignore or accept. Personally, I was skeptical, but once it became obvious that the forces were mounting at the border, that's when I realized that maybe they were right this time.
