This was always my suspicion. What would a lefty have to gain from leaking it? It always made far more sense that it was someone who wanted to keep everyone locked in.

Another reason to think this was a right winger is that Anthony Kennedy was initially the fifth vote to overturn Roe in 1992, but Souter and O'Connor helped him find an acceptable way to maintain the ruling. They surely feared that someone else would be the next Kennedy.

@sandyunderpants4376 Because it's more likely to solidify right wingers. That's who these Justices are playing to. Unless you have some other reason why you think that the first place the leaker would go would be the Wall Street Journal, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch. As far as Bart O'Kavanaugh goes, if anything he'd be even angrier at the left after this, and really won't want to give us anything.
