  1. More people voted in Maine than in West Virginia. More people voted in Connecticut than in Mississippi. More people voted in Minnesota or Wisconsin than in Tennessee. Not percentages, but raw numbers. In each case, the latter got more total electoral votes to decide the President. The Electoral College encourages lower turnout, and it doesn't bring candidates everywhere or to rural states, but to close states. I am opposed to multi-member districts because I do want rural voters to have a voice, but my vote shouldn't be minimalized because I live in a big city.
