  3. Alex, I know what I am talking about. I get the moving expense. Businesses pay out signing bonuses for that reason and companies can deduct that as well.

  5. Alex, I do. I understand that not everyone gets money to move but that's life, get over it. Here is the thing, if you support the write off for moving then you support the loopholes that allows corporations to pay almost nothing in taxes. You support one loophole you support another. This is why I support a simple tax code of a flat income tax and a consumption tax a the federal level, nothing else. You complain about loopholes for corporations but are all supportive of other write offs. Please try to be consistent.

  6. Prior to 1913 the only federal tax was a tax on the states. A new amendment changed that and since then the income tax went from being on the rich only to being on everyone with the addition of corporate taxes, payroll taxes, and other federal taxes. So prior to 1913 we had the tax on states, not citizens or businesses. Since then our taxes have been going up. So when you say "the biggest tax cut in history", you are looking at a very small portion of this country's history, as in less than 50% of this country's existence.
