  3. JR 14, there is way more to economics than the min. wage. And Australia's min. wage is not "much higher" than ours when you include PPP. Learn economics and try again.

It isn't that easy as larger companies have more resources to work with. For example, someone owning 12 McDonalds can cut down to 10 and be fine. A person running one restaurant can't do that as essentially all of their eggs are in one basket. Larger companies have their assets spread out so they can cut elsewhere if needed and still be fine without raising prices. Smaller ones can't. Not every business is equal.

Out of competition he found a way to build more cars and thus can pay workers more. He hired only skilled workers and had less turnover. Republicans support people like Ford as that is a great example of the free market at work.
