  1. Yeah, like the story of the 16 year old girl who asked for an MRI back in February of 2012 due to headaches, numbness and blurred vision. Instead from that time to November she saw 13 different doctors, some specialists, in 24 visits and then was schedule for an MRI. Due to a waiting list she didn't get it until January, a 3 month waiting list. They found a tumor that has grew in her brain and wrapped around her spin and if they would have done the MRI in February like she asked they would have found it and removed it. She died 8 days after the MRI. Long wait lines and terrible coverage is why you will get in single payer options. You never hear stories like this about the US system, the only problem with the US is cost.  That girl died due to terrible coverage but hey, it didn't cost her a dime.
