  2. ***** You live in this fantasy land that the government can magically fix everything.  Fact is they can't.  Most of the time they make it worse.  And example is college tuition.  College loans have raised the cost of tuition, it wasn't some senile president that you suggest. You also lack some basic knowledge on economics.  The money isn't just sitting there on wallstreet.  You need to learn what money is. Also, to think that socialism works in other countries is not true.  The US is leading the way in productivity, research and innovation in both technology and healthcare, and has a low cost of living.

  3. TheIDGE If the federal government had no power than it can't be bought.  We need to get back to state rights so we can have a government that works for us.

Trevor Anderson At the state level politicians are held more accountable.  They actually represent their states because they live there.  They have to hear from the citizens.  It is also the checks and balance system of powers, you can't let one entity gain too much power.  Spreading the responsibilities amongst the states allow that. With state rights you also have the choice of moving if a state isn't working well.  That competition has the states working in developing the best state.

Trevor Anderson So you don't think that democrats don't put money in local governments?  And a republican and democrat is different at the state level than a republican and democrat at the federal level.  At the state and local level politicians are held more accountable, and if you don't like it than you can move.  There are certain states I would refuse to live in.
