Because they are communist. Don't trust everything that comes from that country.

Not really. If it does have an affect it is very small.

Neither does the constitution.

Healthcare is not a right. Neither is food, water, clothes, etc. And please don't ever make college a right. I want my degrees to be actually worth something.

When you have a government that is big enough and powerful enough it will pick favorites. The bailouts were terrible for the economy but it happen because corporations can buy power. People blame big businesses but the real problem is a big federal government.
1
And why is the US falling hard? Because of the increase in the size of the federal government. So your solution is more government?

Artsy people need to do that on your free time. If you don't make money on your art then not many people feel it is important. While art is important it is something you do on your own free time unless you make money off of it.

The old jobs will be taken over by low skilled or part time employees. People who already have health care through their spouse of parents and are working those jobs as a supplemental form of income. We don't have those jobs because we ruined the economy and those jobs through taxes and frivolous regulations like the min. wage.

Wow, way to be deceptive. Cruz said at the beginning in a better economy. We need to get the economy fixed first and then people can get healthcare. People have this illusion that the government can wave its hand and everything will be better. Well, it hasn't been working for the last century. This guy is right, about winners and losers. Well, if the government got involved the winners will be the government and the rich and the losers will be the middle class like always.

There is more that effects life expectancy than healthcare. It isn't a one to one correlation. We are off by a few years if that even compared to other countries ahead of us and know all the factors that play into it that isn't that bad or a reflection of our healthcare system.
1
I am pretty sure it did. There were doctors and hospitals at that time.

I have may Canadian friends as well and they despise the healthcare system in Canada so to each their own. That is what makes the US great, we have choices.
