  1. They are not booing science, they are booing the individual and the question. It is an asinine question. I am a scientist and I oppose the democratic party. And Cenk needs to stop talking about science because he clearly doesn't understand it.

  2. A couple of things. 1. You really don't "believe" in science. Science is not a religion. You support it. As a scientist myself I don't "believe" in science because to believe in something means you have faith meaning you can't be wrong. Science keeps open the possibility of being wrong. Because of that quantum mechanics was develop. 2. If any party is "anti-science" it is the democratic party. Under Bush and the republicans spending in science research went up. People call republicans "anti-science" because of their religious background. But that is only appealing to their voting base. Just like when a democrat says they support gay marriage but really can't do much about it. They are appealing to their voting base. Meanwhile, democrats politicize science. They are the ones that use climate change as an excuse to create more business regulations and taxes. Our politicians are businessmen and lawyers, not scientists. Republicans leave science to the scientists, democrats try to make policies based off of science they know nothing about making them anti-science.
