  1. As a doctorate student is physical chemistry, and someone who has a degree in physics, I feel this whole situation is being overblown. Take the word "science" off of a document is nothing. If anything I love it as it gets government less involved in science where we can progress more in science.

  2. WorldBurial, I do agree to a point about how both parties are anti-science. To me the left is more anti-science. The reasons are that 1. The left politicize science, as they try to take control of it. Climate change is a big example. They are misleading the public on the issue to push for more taxes and regulations 2. Most the anti-science rhetoric from the left comes from the religious supporters and politicians catering to them, such as evolution and the big bang. But they don't push policies with it. A Bush appointed judge ruled on the Dover vs PA trial to keep creationism out of a science class room. On climate change, the issues that are with it are 1. is it even bad 2. how much is man playing a role. I don't buy the left's narrative on climate change being a big danger. We should look into it, but we should not being hurting our economy because of it. Plus, corruption does lie with the left on the issue of climate change and "green energy", such as Solyndra for example.
