  4. jfsfrnd, I was the one that did the homework assignments, read the books, and attended classes to near perfect attendance. While yes, there were teachers that taught me in the end I did the work. And if it weren't for the teachers and schools my family and I would have found another way. Not totally against public education as I work for the local school district, but liberals have this ignorant mindset that federal government needs more power over our education system when in reality it needs to be given to the people.

  6. Indoctrination is a way to control the people. One way you do that is with public education. If republicans wanted more voters they will expand federal influence on education, not reduce it.
