  2. The polls have been wrong lately. Clinton was supposed to win Michigan but lost. According to Gallup 87% of Americans supported universal background checks but such laws failed in Maine and passed in NV by only 0.45%. If he was so "unpopular" he would have lost. Fact is that he, and republicans won.

  3. Clinton was supposed to win Michigan and several polls said Clinton had an over 90% chance of winning the election, not just the popular vote. These polls are not doing to well these days.

  5. Those models and opinions were based off of polls and many said Clinton was going to win, including TYT. These polls have been bad lately. Another example is how Gallup said that 87% wanted background checks on guns but a law like that did not pass in Maine and passed in NV by only 0.45%. But keep making excuses so you can hold onto your precious polls if it makes you feel better. Just remember Trump and the republicans won.

  6. Left leaning shows including TYT kept pointing towards polls. Remember the "says who" instance with Michael Cohen CNN? TYT did a segment on that 5 months ago. They were pointing to polls than and relying on them. " TYT predicted Clinton would win, but barely." I remember one guy saying Trump had no chance to win. Face it, the polls are not doing well. You want to desperately hold onto the polls so much to try to rip on Trump and the republicans but they continue to fail. "You've shown your hand. You are not interested in an intellectual debate" Says who? " Yes, they won by the electoral process, but that does not give you the right to throw out all scientific method." Says who? Just remember that how everyone was pointing towards polls saying Trump won't win but he won. Now they are pointing to them saying he is not liked, so what makes them right now? By the way, with the scientific method I am a doctorate candidate in physical chemistry. I understand science.

"Furthermore, even if the polls had been completely wrong, you can't use one instance of pollsters making a mistake to then systematically disregard any statistics that you don't like." But they have been wrong on other issues. I keep hearing that the US is leaning left but republicans keep winning. Universal background checks did not pass in Maine and only passed in NV by 0.45% when Gallup said that 87% of people wanted it. A Gallup poll said that people want universal healthcare but such laws failed in Vermont and Colorado. Liberals sources like TYT keep looking at polls to rip on Trump but he keeps winning.

  9. Courtney, TYT will find anything to rip on Trump, they are bias. In fact the media is not reliable right now as it is mainly stationed in LA and NYC, very liberal leaning areas of the country. The media has become myopic to the rest of the country and was shocked when Trump won simply because the media as a whole is in a bubble. These polls are a part of that. "Cenk actually predicted Trump would win way back in an appearance on MSNBC (or CNN) -- I forget which one. There were conservatives who predicted Trump would not win." I know, but Cenk also did the whole loser Donald segment. But, I have to give credit where credit is due, Cenk was right when everyone else on that segment said Clinton would win. "No, you're lying once more. And you have not clarified what you mean by "the polls are not doing well." You gave a few examples. That is not enough to say all polls are not doing well. And I am not "holding on" to polls. I am saying I trust them more than you and Trump and that is the logical thing to do." Trump won, he won by saying what he is saying right now about the polls. It seems like he know something and is doing something right. The polls keep ripping on him all throughout the election and he won. "Wait. So is this an admission that you wish to throw out the scientific method?" Nope, just saying the polls are wrong. Even at that most polls are done through landlines and cell phone which is highly unreliable which is something you learn in statistics. And the questions are typically very vague. As a whole the situation is vague. TYT and other sources keep saying "the polls" but never get into details. If you read the methodology of these polls they hardly ever mention the age, location, occupation, income level and so on of those being polled. They simply list them as "adults". With that they are not reliable. When I write a paper to be published I have to give out all details on my experiments. "You're being purposely vague here. They were pointing to polls that indicated that Trump would lose" And the polls are vague. " You're spitting on experts right now saying that they don't understand their own polls." What "experts"? I am calling them out on vague polls that deceive people.

  10. "Well you just said yourself they passed. Universal background checks won." By only 0.45%, not with 87% support as Gallup says. Even at that I am from NV and Clark County is the only county that is going to enforce it. Other sheriffs and law enforcement said they won't. So essentially it lost except in Clark County.
