  1. Money in politics is nothing more than a symptom of a disease. That disease is a federal government with too much power. If you limited the powers of the federal government than it has nothing to sell and thus can't be bought. With smaller, more local government you have more control over it. Cenk wants the federal government to run your healthcare and college education and than expects it not to be corrupted or bought by special interest groups. Cenk has also never called out big donors such as unions, Planned Parenthood, "green" energy companies and other left leaning groups. In reality he is fine with money in politics as long as it is from groups he agrees with.

  2. European countries are around the size of our states. Also, the US has arguably a strong education system and a strong healthcare system. If you were to remove car accidents and murders the US will be number one in life expectancy for example.

  6. Mark, if the government does not have the power to change the rules, as in they are restricted in what they can do, then they can't change the rules no matter how much money you give them.

Until he brings that up he is being bias. If he has brought it up then please tell me the video. Also, he never talks about the money going to Bernie Sanders. That is money in politics. There is a desire to have government and have government run programs as long as they serve the people. You do that by keeping government as local as possible. The more local government is the more the people and community can see if their money is being spent to benefit them and the easier it is to see if the politicians are serving us. It is easier to control smaller, more local government that you can actually elect. You cannot elect Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell for example.
