  2. ally, I did respond. That book runs through the numbers and what you see is that universal healthcare is not any better than what the US has. There is information out there for you to read. That book lists their methods and sources (many of the peer reviewed). I have my criticism of the book but as a whole it give a great argument for people who care to consider.

  3. Andrew Stewart, that book is written by two professors, one who is the chair of their department. They cite all of their sources (some of them peer reviewed) and they give all of their methods. Now you can either look like a fool and pull a logical fallacy like you just did, or you can read the book and tell me what you do not agree about it. Your choice. But with your reaction I can see why people not want universal healthcare is fools like you support it.

  4. ally, the problem, in my opinion, with out system is the government, mainly the payroll tax. It isn't that we are trying to build on the system, it is that we have a federal government that created problems and with Obamacare it created more. Reducing the role of the federal government and allowing the states to handle this issue is a better solution.

There are higher rates of obesity and diabetes in areas with higher poverty. "There's nothing wrong with your doctors, " Except that we lack them. The government funding healthcare is not going to increase the number of doctors.
